「come into the room」と「come in the room」の違い

「come into the room」の意味は、

「その部屋に入る」

です。

She came into the room then.
彼女はその時に、その部屋に入った。

「come in the room」の意味は、

「その部屋に入る」

We came in the room together.
私達は一緒にその部屋に入った。

「come into the room」と「come in the room」の違いですが、少し意味が異なります。

「come into the room」は、「その部屋に入る」という意味ですが、前置詞intoを用いているため、その部屋に入る瞬間を指します。

I came into the room and saw my son was crying.
私がその部屋に入ったら、息子が泣いているを見た。

部屋に入った瞬間、息子が泣いているのを見たという意味です。

一方、「come in the room」も「その部屋に入る」という意味ですが、部屋に入ったあと、しばらくそこにいるという意味です。

ですので、

“Please come in the room and relax.”
「その部屋に入って、リラックスしてください」

という感じで使えます。これを”Please come into the room and relax.”で使うと、ちょっと違和感が感じられる表現となってしまいます。
